A five-man delegation comprising Universal Service Advisory Council members of the Communications Authority of Kenya (CAK) was hosted by the USPF from 9th to 13th March, 2015.
The delegation came on a study visit to share the Nigerian experience in the implementation of universal access and universal service programmes and projects.
The delegation had an eventful week with the USPF. They enjoyed insightful interactions with the Management of NCC and with beneficiary stakeholders during their visit to some USPF project locations. The Cluster model of closing ICT gap was particularly fascinating to the team, among other success stories of the USPF.
The delegation expressed appreciation and disclosed that the lessons learnt would be brought to bear on the budding Universal Service Funding and Obligation of Kenya.
